A PV system should be free of defects, whether after installation or after a hailstorm. Unfortunately, this is not always the case!’

by Dr. Xu – Founder & CEO

2019 – Foundation

We founded the Vision Potential in 2014 . Initially, we focused on testing microcracks and ‘hidden damage’, for example after hailstorms or incorrect installation. For this inspection, we use our patented DayLight daylight electroluminescence inspection method, which we also openly offer for sale to our competitors. Dr.

2025 – ELFI Project

In 2025, we began reserching our DayLight inspect technology on a drone to make it easier and more lucrative to carry out PV inspections using electroluminescence and photoluminescence in daylight. This development step is supported by the City of Nanjing as part of the PV power station project.

2026 – Current Status

In 2026, we have 20 employees, with academic degrees. We combine knowledge from research at the university with the development of measurement equipment, a focus on detail in the inspection of solar parks with hands-on work on the rooftop. We achieve our high quality standards by training our employees in PV inspection ourselves, providing them with continuous training and, of course, by employing them on a full-time, permanent basis.
